About Op. Dr. Cenk Teker
A quarter-century of ENT surgery: taught at university, practiced in the operating room, refined one patient at a time.
Op. Dr. Cenk Teker is an ear, nose and throat (ENT) specialist practicing in Istanbul. He earned his medical degree at Marmara University Faculty of Medicine and completed his ENT specialist training at Bezm-i Alem Valide Sultan Vakıf Gureba Training and Research Hospital.
Over twenty-five years, his work has centred on surgery of the nose. Rhinoplasty leads that work, alongside septoplasty, endoscopic sinus surgery and ear surgery, and the order of priorities has stayed the same: the nose must breathe well first, and look natural with the face it belongs to.
For two years he taught as a lecturer at Nişantaşı University, contributing to the training of young physicians. He also served for more than ten years as chief physician of his own hospital, which taught him how good care is organized, not only how it is performed.
Today Dr. Teker sees patients at his clinic in Bakırköy, Istanbul, and consults in Turkish, English, Arabic and French. He holds the International Health Tourism Authorization Certificate of the T.C. Ministry of Health and welcomes patients traveling from abroad.
