Revision Rhinoplasty in Istanbul

For patients who have had nose surgery before and are not happy with the result — this time without rushing, and truly heard.

Who it helps

Who is this surgery for?

You have had a nose operation; what you see in the mirror does not make you happy, and perhaps your breathing is harder than before. Many patients carry this feeling — and the thought of surgery again weighs far heavier than the first time. It is understandable that your trust is shaken; rebuilding it is the first purpose of a revision consultation.

  • Appearance problems — Shape issues left by the previous operation: collapse, asymmetry, an over-reduced or unnatural-looking tip.
  • Breathing problems — Nasal obstruction that began or worsened after the first operation.
  • Both at once — Repairing the airway while correcting the appearance is the main goal of most revisions.

The consultation and the process

What to expect at your visit

The first consultation begins as a listening session. Dr. Teker wants to hear the story of your nose: the operations you have been through, what has happened since, and what truly bothers you. It makes no difference where — or by whom — your previous surgery was done; you are heard without judgement.

Revision surgery differs from a first operation: the tissue has been affected by earlier surgery, and every nose must be approached with its own history. Dr. Teker therefore assesses your nose carefully at the consultation and tells you in plain words what is possible — and what is not realistic. You hear an honest plan, not glowing promises.

The decision is entirely yours. If you need time to think, you take it; when you are ready, you settle the plan together.

Common questions

Frequently asked questions

My previous operation was done by another surgeon; can I still come?

Yes. It does not matter who performed your previous surgery. If you have old reports or documents, bringing them to the consultation makes the assessment easier.

Is revision rhinoplasty different from a first operation?

Yes. Because earlier surgery has changed the tissue, revision needs its own planning. Dr. Teker assesses the current state of your nose personally at the consultation, and you discuss a plan tailored to you.

Can I reach the result I wanted this time?

What is possible depends on your nose's tissue today and on the effects of the previous operation. Realistic goals are discussed openly at the consultation — you hear what is true, not what you might want to hear.

When can I come for a new assessment?

It depends on how your nose is healing and differs from person to person. Dr. Teker assesses you personally at the consultation, and you plan the right timing together.
