Who it helps
A heaviness and pressure in your face that has not lifted for months, constant post-nasal drip, a blocked nose, a fading sense of smell… Chronic sinusitis wears daily life down quietly. Most sinusitis settles with medication; but when symptoms persist despite treatment, endoscopic sinus surgery — opening the blocked sinus channels — becomes an option.
The consultation and the process
Dr. Teker assesses you personally at the consultation; he examines the inside of your nose with an endoscope and orders further investigation if he finds it necessary. The aim is to establish whether your symptoms genuinely come from the sinuses.
If surgery is needed, the technique is closed: endoscopic sinus surgery is performed through the nose, with no external incision on the face. The goal is to open the blocked sinus channels so the sinuses can ventilate and drain again.
The decision to operate is never rushed; your findings are explained in plain language and you talk through the options together. Dr. Teker also carries out your post-operative follow-up himself.
